HAV-PCR is a qualitative kit for the qualitative determination of HAV genome DNA in the test sample. Qualitative PCR kits are used to determine the presence of the infectious agent in the sample.
Hepatitis A is an acute infectious disease with liver damage, transmitted by the fecal-oral mechanism. The disease is common in all countries of the world [3], but due to the availability of a highly effective vaccine in many countries with developed medicine, the incidence has been reduced to almost zero. In third world countries, children and young people are mainly affected.

During the polymerase chain reaction, the DNA genomes of HBV, HDV (target analytes) and the human-specific genetic sequence (internal control) are sequentially amplified, which leads to the release of specific fluorophores (FAM), (ROX) and (HEX), respectively. Their fluorescence is recorded using a photofluorometer of the automatic analyzer (amplifier).
All components of the kit can be stored for 1 year from the date of manufacture without loss of efficiency. All components of the kit are stored at -25°C to -16°C after transportation. Repeated thawing and freezing (> 2 times) of the master mix and positive control should be avoided, as this may affect the efficiency of the assay.
The Ingeneko® HAV-PCR qualitative kit consists of the following components, designed to carry out 100 reactions:
