FINOFF TRANSILUMINATOR or diaphanoscope is an instrument used to search for tumors, scars and foreign bodies in the sclera. Diagnosis allows the doctor to examine the vascular system of the retina.
It is used in the absence of vision of the fundus, while giving a general idea of the work of the peripheral function of the retina. Serves as an alternative diagnostic method for ultrasound, X-ray and CT studies.
Complete set: Transilluminator with xenon-halogen (XHL) illumination (head). Can only be used with BETA series handles.
The tool does not require maintenance during the entire period of operation.
